
We promise not to send you email you don't want or sell your name to anyone else. We don't share: food, husbands, girlfriends or your information! E-mail addresses, personal information and other stuff that's private, stay private, no if ands or buts!
Domestic (orders shipped within the US) will be shipped via USPS priority with tracking and insurance at no cost to you.
International shipping will be shipped via USPS Global Priority. We will not provide a tracking number or insurance UNLESS you request this service. You must tell us! Overseas quotes, duty and 3rd party fees may apply.
We are happy to ship Fed Ex. If you like Fed Ex, we can check the rate for you and apply the charge to your credit card or you can use your own Fed Ex Account number.
It happens; we would like to make returns as painless as possible for all concerned!
- Items must retain our tags
- Items must be in the same "as described" condition that it left us in and item must be insured with a tracking number to make its way home to us.
- You must notify us within 48 hours of the items' arrival to you that you are returning them, and we must have them back no later than 5 business days after that.
- All items over $50.00 are returnable for store/web credit only. Shipping and insurance on returns are at your expense.
- Items under $50.00 are not returnable.
- We will send you a credit slip to use at our "real time" store or our on-line store. Like all such things should be, there are no expiration dates on our credit slips.

If you didn't grow up with the luxury of a personal maid to care for your wardrobe, read this! In the "old days", the art of home making was taught in school, to girls only of course and always included the care and upkeep of your wardrobe, imagine that! We only sell clothing that was well cared for by one of the above. We avoid those items that partied hard and spent too many nights slept in, walked on or sad lonely things that spent too many years hanging around uncared for and waiting and absorbing odors, yuck. It's just unpleasant to have to make excuses for something; no one wants to hear them anyway. There is one of us here who has a teeny tiny issue with "second hand" so we have the "Nancy test", it doesn't get by Nancy if it isn't pretty close to perfect, we promise!
Our guide to condition:
- Pristine: Never worn / or item has no flaws, tears, repairs, stains or discolorations.
- Excellent: Item may show some gentle wear or use, for example a washing, shoes or hand bags perhaps a minor scuff or hairline scratch.
- Very Good: Item may show some signs of wear as you would expect from the items age, a mellow patina, soles of shoes may show wear or slight toe or heel scuff, purses may have less than immaculate interiors or a minor scuff.
- Good: Items will show general wear, maybe a spot or stain, once and a while something rare appears and will be in non wearable condition, but could be used as a reference, costume or inspiration, we will make sure to highlight these items condition on page just so you know!
We make every effort to present our inventory in top condition clean, steamed and ready to wear!
Lay awaysWe are happy to provide lay away service. We require 50% of the item price up front and the balance to be paid no later than 30 days after the initial payment. Lay away deposits are non refundable and lay away items are not returnable.
